They did a great job cleaning and preserving the dress, and now it can hang out in our closet. I really would highly recommend their service. It was really easy and simple (which was nice after the wedding).
All I had to do was toss everything in the box and drop it off a fed ex! All the postage was prepaid and included in the cost... It couldn't have been simpler :)
We didn't pay any extra to include my veil or anything from the wedding, but if I did it again, I would... that way i'd have one box of keepsakes. But then again, my veil only cost me $20 because I just bought a blusher instead and it would have cost that much at least to "preserve it" lol.
It's beautiful & a great keepsake!
ReplyDeleteAn exciting day!
ReplyDeleteI think it's great that you are giving David's Bridal a glowing report and you don't just complain when let's term them "less than satisfactory" services happen.
Great idea! I should preserve my dress, but right now it's just sitting in my closet (on a hanger of course). Did you preserve your bouquet?
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, I'm actually a really positive glass is half full kind of person... in the world of cyber space i'm a bit freer to vent out my frustrations because I can get a variety of opinions from people not directly involved... but if you met me on the street you'd think I was a little walking ball of happy :)
ReplyDeleteWhich is why i'm excited I can finally post about something good that happened! Other than the one hiccup with the first wedding dress I bought at David's Bridal, everything there worked out great... and I was really happy with my dress. It was perfect for me. :) they are awesome!!!
20 and Engaged-
My bouquet is actually hanging up on a hook in our bedroom drying out... We haven't decided what we are going to do with it, but we have it and my husbands boutinner (SP) drying out...
