So my fiance got a call today from Arby's... offering him a job....which sounds fantastic... but there's one problem.... It's the Arby's he applied to 4+ months ago when he used to live in Utah.
***shakes head in frustration***
Dear Walmart,
We would be overjoyed today if you were to place a call to my fiance and give us good news. We know you received the background check on my fiance because we also got a copy of it in the mail. The drug test came back to you and it came back clean... and he has done the 3 interviews already... so it would be lovely to get a call from your company to let us know when he can come in for orientation... This way we can properly laugh and be silly about at the job offer from Utah.

Hang in there. I know how frustrating it is to be waiting for a phone call but there's not much else you can do. 4 months later for Arby's? That's ridiculous.

ReplyDeleteand that was the real reason my fiance came out to California when he did... to wait 4 months for a fast food place to consider hiring you is crazy when you'd only get to work there a few months before you had to move away. This way when he does find something he will get to keep it!
why can't you follow up with walmart? I think you should take initiative and give them a call!
ReplyDeleteWe did... and have been... we waited a week after the drug test to call (it was a thursday) and we were told to call on Monday... we called monday and the back ground check wasn't in.... so we called the next Monday but no one was there, and we called yesterday and were told they didn't have the background check yet... we told them we had our copy that's why we were calling... she said she would call us once they figure out why they don't have his background check yet...
