June KIVA Loan (LIBERIA)

Ruth Davis, is the leader of a group of five borrowers called Gbawulu. She is 33 years old and married. She has two children aged 11 and 13 who attend school. She also cares for one sibling.

She was unable to attend school due to lack of financial support. For three years, she has been selling blocks in the Thinkers Village Community, outside Monrovia, Liberia.

She plans to use her 6,000 Liberian Dollar portion of this 30,000 Liberian Dollar group loan to buy more bags of cement. She describes herself as a serious-minded person. Her dream is to improve her business, build a house and continue to support her family so that they can have a better future.
