What we spent in March 2019

March was an "interesting" month for us. I was gone for a week on a work conference so our groceries and eating out was way higher than normal as we attempted to make it easy leading up to me leaving, easy while I was gone, and an easy week to return.

I'm not listing my work expenses here that i'm floating while i'm waiting on getting a reimbursement for work, because that would really skew things even more.

We did a "profit share" celebration outing and went to see a movie and hit chuck-e-cheese up since we had some family there, bought a lot of hiking gear.... went to a toddler birthday party.... did some doctor and dental visits, and made NO progress on the condo, but we expected that since it was a busy month with my being gone.

We also decided to do some early birthday shopping since we have the family birthdays all over the next 2 months, and some of our "gear" will need a month to "get" to us, because we have decided to do an overnight hike for my birthday, since i'm an experience "gal".

And it was a 3- paycheck month for me, so we dumped over $1,000 into the car replacement fund!

I'm using a smaller pack for our over nighter in May, so I need to get creative with saving space on the inside of my pack, and the fanny pack attaches to my chest strap for snacks, or my belt if needed. Hubs and I both wanted one, but we figured we'd get one between the two of us and see what is "manageable."
