July Spending

Another crazy month has gone by... and boy was it a good one. SCB and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary and despite both of us now working, we got to spend a good deal of time with one another.

And it was nice. It really was.We went to the Orange County Fair, SCB got to go to his first ever concert concert and we had another awesome month with our pup.

As I alluded in Wednesday's post... our numbers are a bit skewed this month. Our grocery numbers don't include the extra house and personal care items we purchased like they normally do...  I was being lazy when it came to the budget and I just kept recording our spending and not deducting it like I normally do from the categories until about 3 weeks into the month... and the only receipts I kept had food on them... not necessarily the house and personal care items... so our "other" category includes some of these... and I think that receipt i'm "missing" got lumped into the "other" category as well. So the numbers are off... but its the best I could do for this month and i'm okay with it. I'll just be better about next month.
