Monthly Spending

At the birthday luncheon :)

July is a wrap... and while we spent more money then normal with car repairs, vacation, etc it was a pretty good month, even if it was a spendy one.

South County Boy has Olympic fever and so we decided to break down and pay for a TV antenna in hopes that we would be able to get some basic stations for free since we have that newer TV that we bought back on Black Friday... and it worked! So now we have the basic 13 stations and a few others when the signal is good without a monthly bill. I'm surprised how easy it was too!

We also bought a new tent and 2 new sleeping bags. After our little camping trip we learned SCB is too tall for our tent and my bag was soooo trashed after we washed it that it needed replacing.

We had my sister's fiance's birthday lunch at Dave and Busters (My sister decided to go out instead of BBQ like we did for SCB's birthday and my mom picked up the tab which was really nice of her). It wasn't horrible either. Since they picked Dave and Busters we could walk around and do our own thing if we wanted, so it was a really nice option for SCB since he can't stand my family). I'll mention more of the luncheon later since it leads to another topic I need to update you all on, but that needs its own post.

I also got on a big crafty spree and spent a lot of money on fabric in an attempt to sew... and i'm proud to say i'm getting better! I actually made 2 skirts with zippers that work!!!!!!
