So last year it was approved that there would be two across the board raises for all employees...
This january we were supposed to recieve the final raise... 3.5%
Due to the economy, it will only by 2.0%
But there are no complaints from me, it's still an increase, and I have a job with Good benefits!
Instead, i'll be increasing my federal deductions on my paycheck from 0 to 1.(since my ruff tax estimates showed I way over paid!)

be thankful you got a raise! i work for a california university and i watched my raise go away thanks to a lack of money from the state to fund them. good thing i like where i work and i'm grateful to even have a job right now...
