It's times like this where I think I'll change my withholding...but i know i won't... cause i don't want to owe the government anything... yet..... I also hate giving them a free loan... its not fair... I heard they fine you if you owe too much? Why can't I fine them for taking too much???

I've made $24,917.91 this year...

• $893.29------> State taxes
• $361.39-------> Medicare taxes
• $189.43-------> Automatic Manditory CALpers deduction
• $13.95 --------> Survivor Ben

= $5,230.09

Leaves me with: $19,687.01

$5,000 to my roth...

hmmm... no wonder my house dp is tiny... Thank GOD i don't have to pay social security... It's like having a 5% raise just for working for my job.
