Sorry we missed a post on Tuesday... But this happened this week.
Big Boy Bed.... Toddler Freedom...
and the miracle being that he actually slept! Had to put him back the first night... Night 2 he stayed but fell out twice and he slept on the floor because he fell out the third time and didn't bother to wake us...
By night 3 he was trained and we had secured a pool noodle better.
#World'sPerfectToddler.
Pool noodle, how? Why not do the bed rail?
ReplyDeleteOld hand me down crib we got from a friends, friend didn't convert to a toddler bed and we bought a $20 bed rail off amazon, but because of our small space, the rail wouldn't fold down so Little dude couldn't climb in and out safely. (His dresser blocked it from folding down) so we made our own out of a pool noodle, blanket and some para-cord.
DeleteMy little guy slept for 3-4 months in his bed. He then decided to get out every night and beg for somebody to sleep with him. It's been like that for the last 4-5 months. Not to burst your bubble but it might now last. BTW, he's so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThis is good to know... he's always been a great sleeper though. Still takes 2-3 hour afternoon nap most dats and he likes his bedtime ritual. We carry him over to his bed, hand him 2 binki's... say a prayer... then he gets to turn off the light on his ceiling fan (cause pull chains are fun at that age), and then I tuck him in with his glowing musical panda, quick kisses and he sleeps.
DeleteHe has gotten out once or twice, but hubs just walks over to his little door and tell him its still night time and he sleepy walks back to his bed and starts sleeping again.
