Last time i paid my property taxes, I got a rebate check because my property value was re-set to my purchase price.
I just received my yellow notice from the County putting my value at:
Land: $75,016.00
Building & Improvements: $44,984.00
For a total of $120,000.00
So I went to their website, pulled up last years bill to type in all the percentage numbers and volia!
My new tax bill should be $1,276.08 or $638.04 in November and April. Which works out monthly to about $106.35 instead of $125.00 a month.
Once I get the actual numbers bill from the County, I need to fax it over to BOFA so they will reduce the amount of money collected each month. =)
an extra $18 a month I'll be able to send to the pretty land of principle. =)
