I'm participating in the LA Marathon this year in honor of my favorite charity: Child SHARE. last year my friends and I did a charity walk for them and we raised over $10,000! This year we are taking our walk to the LA Marathon, and i'll be walking/running the 5K.
Child SHARE is a 501.c.3 non profit group whose main goal is to place kids in really great foster care homes, and they do 3X better then any government programs. Older children get adopted, children with disabilities find love, and kids get homes. They also have one of the only ESL programs in the area.
